The Arts Council of Big Sky

From May 2023 to June 2024, I worked as the Communications and Stewardship Coordinator at the Arts Council of Big Sky. I was responsible for creating the social media and communications calendar each month, implementing it, and creating or sourcing graphics, photos, or videos for social media posts and newsletters. I also created other graphics for the organization, which can be seen here.

Social Media Creation & Management

From April 26, 2023, until June 17, 2024, I managed the Arts Council of Big Sky Facebook page.

A few fun videos created to promote events on Instagram and Facebook.

Email Marketing

Each month I created a monthly newsletter which was emailed out to our supporters. If you are up for some light reading, check out one of the monthly newsletters I created, such as the May 2024 Art Beat.

To promote specific events, I created email blasts, which were segmented into specific email lists. All email marketing emails, including the Art Beats, used similar templates to the examples below.

The HRDC

I had the pleasure of working with The HRDC, making routine edits to the WordPress website from June 2022 to May 2023. Along with weekly edits and updates, I also worked directly with their communications manager and graphic designer to create updated page layouts.

Transition Bicycles Outpost

Events Included:

  • Women’s Weekend Bicycle Event
  • Co-hosted with coworkers numerous events
  • Local bicycle-specific holiday market
  • World Cup Downhill race viewings with pancakes
  • Weekly bbq with no drop group bike ride
  • Outside events and demos

Visual Information Specialist for the U.S. Forest Service

• Managed all web work for the Missoula Technology & Development Center along with various other Forest Service websites

The Whitefish Bike Retreat

Developed graphics, ads, specials, planned events, and promoted the Whitefish Bike Retreat. Successfully doubled business over the course of two summer seasons.
